Frank Edward Grayiel, III, 84, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023. Frank was born July 4, 1939, in Tarboro, NC to the late Frank Edward Grayiel, Jr and Dorothy Bordeux Grayiel.

Frank received a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and proudly served our country as an Officer in the United States Air Force. He was very active in the ECU Alumni Association and served on several ECU Scholarship committees.

Frank is survived by his wife Nancy; his daughter Amy Grayiel Morris and husband Michael of Durham; his son Stephen Grosman and wife Molly and his grandchildren Brandon Grosman and Hannah Morris.

A celebration of life will be held at Hockaday Chapel Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends at Hockaday starting at 12:30PM prior to the service.
