Frances Ann Rook Vincent

Frances Ann Rook Vincent, 75 of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday June 5, 2026. Frances was born August 27, 1950, in Halifax County, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband George “Boogie” Vincent and her parents Belton Edward Rook and Annie Maude Ellis Shaw.

She is survived by her son Michael Vincent (Sheryl), grandchildren Justin Vincent (Olivia), Emily Vincent (Garrett Dunlow), Abby Vincent, Kendall Pittman, “Bubbe” Pittman and great grandchildren Liam Vincent and Colton Dunlow.

Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church where she served in the nursey ministry, where she treated the kids as her own children. Frances loved cooking and working on her flowers in the yard.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday June 10, 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday June 10, 2026, at 12:00pm in Hockaday Chapel, with the interment following the service in Cedarwood Cemetery. Pastor Jeremy Kobernat will be officiating the service.
