Eunice Widener

Eunice V. Widener, 80, of Gaston passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Signature Healthcare.

Eunice was born July 18, 1939 in Halifax County to the late John A. Vinson and Bertha Mae Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Renee Hartley; her grandson, Phillip Hartley.

Eunice is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Faye Gontkovic of Miller’s Tavern, VA; her sister, Linda Coker of Gaston; her grandchildren, Brandon Norris, Shannon Woods, Chris Garris and Taylor Gontkovic.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June29, 2020 in Old Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Roy Porter officiating.
