Eugene Bolt

Eugene Furman Bolt, 78, died Thursday, March 18th at his residence on the Odell-Arcola Rd.

Mr. Bolt was born April 21, 1931 in Florence, SC to the late Rufus Furman and Norma Patrick Bolt. He was US Army veteran and retired lineman for Stackhouse. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janie Strickland Bolt. Mr. Bolt is survived by two sons, Rufus Furman Butch Bolt, II and Martin Louis Rusty Bolt both of Littleton; three daughters, Linda B. Ryder, Susan B. Byrge and Roxanne B. Hux all of Littleton. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 20th at 281 Odell-Arcola Rd. Littleton from 6-8 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date in South Carolina. The family would like to extend heart-felt thanks to Eugenes hospice family of Community Home Care and Hospice: Tom, Sabrina, Rev. Bob, Cheri, and Lisa.
