Ethelene "Kitty" Turner Butler

Ethelene Kitty Butler, 80, of 968 Wait Ave, Wake Forest, NC died Monday, June 17, 2013 at Hillside Nursing Center.

She was born August 26, 1932 in Northampton County, to the late Bernice and Sallie Turner. She was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Lee Butler and Albert Jack Newsome. Her son Arnold Butler, and two sisters, Mamie Turner and Irene Turner.

She is survived by her children, Ernest Butler and wife Jean of Greer, SC; Charles Chubby Butler and wife Kathy of Wake Forest, NC; Deborah Floyd and husband Charlie of Gaston, NC; her brother Robert G. Turner and wife Anne of Windsor, NC. Her grandchildren; Brent Floyd and fianc Kendra Justice; Tyler Floyd; Will Butler; Jake Butler; Charlie Butler; and Mary Marlene Butler.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Dale Morris, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the home of her daughter, 815 Old Emporia Rd. in Gaston, NC.
