Emma Jane Sadler Skipper

Emma Jane Sadler Skipper, 77, of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday, December 17, 2010, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Skipper was born to the late Charlie Sadler and Pattie Jordan Sadler, and was also predeceased by her husband, John N. Skipper, one sister: Edith Mae Chambliss, and a loving sister-in-law, Evelyn G. Sadler. She loved animals and leaves behind her beloved Eva. She attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her son, Walter Skipper and his wife, Jennifer, of Littleton; her brother, Charlie L. Sadler of Littleton, her sister: Nannie Faith Bateman of Littleton, another sister: Joyce D. Ingram of Gaston, and another brother, Donald M. Sadler and his wife, Patricia, of Roanoke Rapids.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 21,2010, in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Aaron Leonard..
