Elizabeth Allen Miller

Elizabeth Allen Miller, 62, of 403 N. Church Street, Jackson, North Carolina, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at her home.

She was a member of Jackson United Methodist Church and the Womans Club of Jackson.

Mrs. Miller was born April 12, 1948, to Karl K. Allen, who survives and Margaret Gupton Allen, deceased.

She was also predeceased by her sister, Sammy Bachelor.

In addition to her father she is survived by her son, Doug Miller, of Roanoke Rapids, and her daughter, Amy Miller-Lamb and her husband, Peter, of Marion, N. C.; her brother, Karl Allen, of Battery Park, Virginia; her grandchildren: Karl and Karalee Miller and Hugh and Greta Lamb.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, at 11 A.M. at the Jackson United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Barry Stallings. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg, N. C.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service which is handling the arrangements.
