Elizabeth "Beth" Cozzens Carlisle

Elizabeth Beth Cozzens Carlisle, 74, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Carlisle was born January 15, 1940 in Washington, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family and she had a deep and special love for her grandchildren who were such an important part of her life.

Surviving are her husband, James F. Carlisle of the home; two sons, H. Kim Carlisle and wife, Cheryl and James Jay A. Carlisle, II and wife, Lora, both of Roanoke Rapids; four grandsons, Matthew Carlisle, Phillip Carlisle and wife, Sara, Brandon Carlisle, Jac Carlisle, and one granddaughter, Lexa Carlisle. Also surviving is her special friend and companion, CoCo.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Burial will be private.
