Elizbeth Ann Byrum, 67 of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Saturday August 1, 2026. Elizabeth was born on August 29, 1958, in Halifax County. She was preceded in death by her parents John Wayne and Rockie Flythe Byrum and brother John Robert Byrum.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Sledge, brothers Thomas Byrum (Barabra), William Wayne Flythe (Pat), Carl Ray Wheeler (Charmane) and grandchildren Sean and Shane Pitts.

Elizabeth loved her family, crocheting, classic country music and coloring.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
