Elizabeth Ann Monk Clary, 54, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Elizabeth was born in Halifax County, August 19, 1957 to the late Lawrence Clary and Alma Hansley Clary. She loved her church, Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she loved to read the bible and befriend all who attended. She loved her old movies, wrestling, Barbie dolls, and The King, Elvis Presley. She loved her old family photos, which she kept close to her always. She loved, and had a knack with communicating with children, as well as, finding a way into the hearts of everyone she met during her life. She just truly loved everyone, unconditionally.

Surviving are her sister, Trudy Martin and husband, Milton, of Roanoke Rapids; nephews, Wayne Cabiness and David Cabiness of Roanoke Rapids; niece, Brenda Carmichael and husband, Brent of Halifax; great nephews, Kris and Jody Cabiness, Cody Carmichael, and Michael Rivenbark. Also surviving are Zachary and Grady Martin, Lonnie Lee and Matthew Wood, and Audrey Lynn Larochelle.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 7-9 pm.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church at 11:00 am conducted by Tony Smith, Pastor. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
