Elaine Ellis Bell

Elaine Ellis Bell, 66, of Roanoke Rapids died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019 in her home.

Elaine was born in Littleton on February 4, 1953, the daughter of Garnet Dalton Ellis and Susie King Ellis, both of whom preceded her in death.  She was also predeceased by a sister, Dixie Connor; and a brother, Jimmy Murray.

Elaine worked as a paramedic for Roanoke Valley and then Halifax EMS for a number of years.   She was a member of Weavers Chapel Church.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Forte (Calvin) of Roanoke Rapids; son, Sam Bell of Spring Hope; grandchildren Bridge Forte and Lauren Forte; and a brother, Billy Ellis.

Friends may visit with the family at the home of Suzanne Forte at any time; and also from 12:00 – 12:45 pm Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.

The memorial service for Elaine will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
