Edward Earl Shaw, Sr.

Edward Earl Shaw, 80, of Creedmoor, NC, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 in Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.  Mr. Shaw was born in Halifax County on June 30, 1943, the son of the late Callie Roberta Livermon and Vernon Hill Shaw.

Surviving include his two daughters, Johnnie Ann Doby of Burlington, NC and Debbie Shaw Murray of Rocky Mount, NC; his sons, Edward Earl Shaw, Jr. of Burlington, NC and Steven Earl Shaw of Darlington, SC; his sister Evelyn Autry of Creedmoor; his grandchildren, Kelly, Kasey, Kori, Joey, and Johnny Ray; his great grandchildren, Addison, Tennyson, Mckenna, Lincoln, Max, Lainey, Kenny, J.J., and Christopher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2034 in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Charlie Jenkins officiating.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.  Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the Shaw family.
