Edna Evans Huss

Mrs. Edna Evans Huss, 77, of Roanoke Rapids died March 17, 2018 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Edna was born May 8, 1940 in Granville County, the daughter of Archie and Sally Saunders Evans.

She was a retired bank teller, working with Centura (now PNC) for well over 20 years.   A member of
Victory Baptist Church, Edna was a devout prayer warrior.

Edna is fondly remembered by her surviving family;  daughters, Jodeana Huss King (Mark), and Pamela Faith
Huss, all of Roanoke Rapids; her brother, David "Tootsie" Evans of Oxford; grandchildren, Logan King Salisbury
and Kyle King; and her "second, beloved family", Joe Dean Huss, Jr., Johannah Faith Huss, and their parents,
Joe and Ellen Huss, all of Roanoke Rapids.

The service for Mrs. Huss will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 23 from the graveside at Cedarwood Cemetery,
with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat presiding.   The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of Victory Baptist
Church after the service.
