Dorothy Marie Lindsley

Dorothy Marie Lindsley 68 of Halifax, NC passed away peacefully at ECU Health on Sunday April 14, 2024.  Dorothy was born on November 4, 1955, in Durham, NC.  She was preceded in death her parents Lonnie and Naniee Shorpire, her brother Lawrence Shorpire, her sister Cherry O’Neal and her special friend Tommy Barnes.

Dorothy is survived by her son James Williams and brother-in-law David O’Neal.

She attended All Saint’s Episcopal Church of Roanoke Rapids

Dorothy held many titles, but Mother was her most precious title. She loved her fur babies Black Betty and Romeo.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday April 21, 2024 at 11:15am during the Sunday service at All Saints Episcopal Church.
