She lived a life of full love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. On June 28th, 2024, Dorothy Mae Balmer Tritt bid farewell to this world, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.

Dorothy was reunited with her beloved parents Nancy and Purm Balmer, her brother Howard, sister Louise, and son-in-law Billy Whitby in the eternal embrace of peace and serenity. While her absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, her spirit lives on through the memories she created.

She is survived by her daughters, Maxine Allen (Dale) and Carol Whitby, her grandkids- Joseph Baird, Angelique Alvarez (Marcelo), Lori Cook (Eric), David Shaw (Stephanie), Julie Powell and Brandon Pike (Sara), her great-grandkids- Tren, Hannah, Dani, Kameron, Colby, Chasten, Sean, Caiden, Caleb, Trinity, Cambren and Cassalyn.

Moveover, she had the opportunity to witness and embrace five generations with her great-great-grandkids- Raymond, Sophia and Jameson.

Dot’s journey may have come to an end, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by all the romance novels her heart desires.

There will be a memorial service on Friday July 5, 2024, at 7:00pm at Forest Hills Baptist Church 2103 Pine Log Road Skippers, VA 23879.
