Donald Gerald Rhodes

Gerald Donald Rhodes (Don), aged 74, passed away in Roanoke Rapids, NC on April 14th, 2022.

He was a graduate of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA. He went on to serve in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1968. He moved back to Virginia afterward, where he met his wife of 51 years, Kathy.
Don was a sports enthusiast and particularly enjoyed motorcycle racing and events.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, son Michael Rhodes (Naomi), daughter, Crystal Walker (Brendan), daughter, Candice Rhodes, and grandchildren Michael, Alexis, Gabriel, Penelope, Julian, and Georgia Mae. He is also survived by his siblings Cheryl Bishop, Jimmy Washburn, William Jefferson, Damon Jefferson, Ilia Jefferson, and Adria Rhodes.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future if one is scheduled.
