Donald (Dee) Wayne Clay, 77 of Enfield, NC passed away on Sunday, January 30th, 2022.

He was born in Halifax County in 1944 to the late George Halley Clay and Edna Earle Thompson Clay and was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Clay and Sidney Clay and his sisters, Louise Clay Henry and Dorothy Clay Joyner.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Donna Dixon and husband Jimmy of Chocowinity, NC and Carol Dildy of Roanoke Rapids.  His grandchildren, Kyle Barnes and wife Amanda of Washington, NC and Brandon Dixon and wife Megan of Greenville, NC, his great grandchildren, Ella Blake Barnes and Graham Barnes; his sister, Nancy Clay Davis and her husband, Donald of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his brother, Thomas Clay and his wife, Rita of Roanoke Rapids, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service conducted by Rev. Susan Joyce in Elmwood Cemetery, Enfield NC Wednesday, February 2, 2022 beginning at 2:00 pm.
