Donald P Blanton

Mr. Donald Payne Blanton, 64, of Macon Price Rd. Garysburg, died Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Blanton was born September 9, 1948 to the late Robert Blanton, Sr. and Gladys Jordan Blanton. Mr. Blanton worked for many years as a route salesman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers R.D. Blanton, Jr. and John Blanton.

Mr. Blanton is survived by two brothers, Ronald Blanton and Mike Blanton; two sisters-in-law, Betty Blanton and Shirley Blanton; Nieces Lisa Bennett and husband Jay and Erin Blanton; Nephews Travis Blanton, Jeremy Killian, Billy Blanton, and Rick Johnson; Great nephews, Daniel Bennett, T.J. and Jacob Johnson; Great nieces, Danielle and Hannah Faith Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at the home of Shirley Blanton 1716 Macon Price Rd., Garysburg, Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 4:00 PM.
