Don H. Heustess

Don Herbert Heustess, 74, of Roanoke Rapids died September 23, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in
Greenville.

Born January 4, 1944 in Halifax County, Don was the son of Samuel Herbert and Louise Shearin Heustess.
He was a maintenance coordinator for Georgia Pacific. Don loved his family and his dogs. He enjoyed
the beach, fishing, and eating. Don was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Stansbury Heustess; son, Chris Heustess; daughters, Stacie Ruffin
and Shannon Miles (Rusty); sisters, Catherine Smith (Dickey), Patsy Heustess, Vickie Jenkins (Kenny); grandchildren,
Chrissy, Justin, Breanna, Kenneth, Tommi, Patrick, Eryne, Brittany; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, and by a grandson, Dwayne Heustess.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation
Service.

A Celebration of Life Service for Don will be held at a later date.
