Dina Marie Sanchez

Dina Marie Dono Sanchez, 47, of Clayton died Monday afternoon, August 16, 2021 at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.

Dina was born in Port Jefferson, Long Island on August 10, 1974 the daughter of Thomas Dono and Patricia Labor.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.  Dina was passionate about caring for and spending time with her animals. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family and cared more for others than herself.

One of Dina’s favorite times was at Christmas, when she would always ask her mother to fix peanut butter cookies, and to bake lasagna.

Dina is survived by her son, Derick Mims of Clayton; her mother and step-father, Patricia and Daniel Eisenbach of Littleton; and her sisters, Roxsanne Corso of Tamarac, FL and Tricia Dono of Littleton.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 pm on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  Following the visitation, Dina will be cremated and any additional services will be private.
