Dianne Patrick Rolfe

Dianne Patrick Rolfe, 69 of Hwy 903, Roanoke Rapids died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Rolfe was born February 13, 1945 to James Patrick and Katie Moore Coley.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rena Rolfe, her father James Patrick; two brothers, Jimmy Patrick and Hubert Patrick.

She is survived by her husband Eddie Rolfe Sr.; her two sons, Eddie Rolfe Jr. and wife Susan, and Randy Rolfe and Ada; her mother, Katie Coley; two brothers Alton Patrick and David Patrick, and one sister, Alice Delbridge and husband Thomas Delbridge. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Special mention is made for her loving church family from Good Samaritan Baptist Church, and a very special cousin Judy Levesque who was there for her during her last months.

Dianne had a very giving heart and always cared about the underdog, yet still had a feistiness and great zeal for life, and most of all her Savior Jesus Christ whom she could never say enough good about and always thank Him even for the simplest things a cool breeze, a beautiful flower, a kind word from someone, etc.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 2, 2014 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Dennis Gregory and Rev. Frank Levesque officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 6:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at the home. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery..
