Debra "Debbie" Jean Turner

Debra “Debbie” Jean Turner, 71 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday February 26, 2025. Debbie was born on January 3, 1953, in Halifax County. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Johnson and Dorothy Jenkins, her sister Kathy Brewer, her brother troy Johnson, and her “fur baby” Chole.

She is survived by her husband Tommy Turner, daughters Jamie Rose, Erica Medlin (Steve), brothers Roy Johnson  (Margaret), Jackie Johnson (LaRose), Ed “Dink” Johnson, sister Linda Allen (Ronnie) and her grandchildren Jacob Bullock, Caleb Browder, Morgan Browder and Natalie Browder.

Debbie retired from New Dixie Oil Company, she loved bingo, drinking coffee at the beach, and working her job.

The family will have a graveside service on Friday February 28, 2025, at 2:00pm in Cedarwood Cemetery. Pastor Jason Yeatts will be presiding.
