David Wilson Mckeel

David Wilson McKeel, 78, died Monday, July 07, 2014 at Rich Square Health Care Center.

Mr. McKeel was born June 16, 1936 in Williamston, NC to the late Lester McKeel and Lessie Wells McKeel. In addition to his parents, Mr. McKeel is preceded in death by a grandson. Mr. McKeel is survived by his sons, William Parker McKeel of Gaston; David Keith McKeel of Roanoke Rapids; Rodney Wilson McKeel of Rocky Mount; and Ricky Eugene McKeel of Roanoke Rapids. Mr. McKeel is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Freddie McKeel of Greenville; John Ashley McKeel of Charlotte; William Ray McKeel of Raleigh; Lester Leroy McKeel, Jr. of Beaufort; Larry Wade McKeel of Chocowinity; Carlus Gray McKeel of Jamestown; James Edward McKeel of Raleigh. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Cedarwood Cemetery with Minister Dale Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service and all other times at 677 Canoe Creek Rd. Gaston, NC.
