David Auburn Adams

David Auburn Adams, 84 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Sunday November 10, 2024.  He was born on January 12, 1940, in Halifax County.  He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Adams, parents Raymond and Alma Adams, brothers Herman Adams, Howard Adams, Raymond Adams, sisters Shelby Werber, Ruby Mae Miles.

He is survived by his daughter Crystal Adams, stepsons James W. Mills Jr, Michael Mills, Brian E. Mills, stepdaughters Doris Tart, Regina Taylor, Brenda Mills Lee, Patricia Mills Fox, grandchildren Savannah, Kenneth, Melissa, Michael Jr., Richard, Ann, Amanda, Marc, Brandy, Rickey, Gloria, numerous great grandchildren and his fur babies “Squirt” & “Meme”.

Visitation will be on Wednesday November 13, 2024, 12:30pm to 1:45pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremations. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 13, 2024, at 2:00pm in Hockaday Chapel with Pastor Timothy Dean presiding, interment will follow in Cedarwood cemetery.

He was a member of the Church of God; David was an avid woodworking craftsman.
