Curtis Roosevelt Hathaway

He was born August 24, 1932 to Jesse Lee and Annie James Hathaway. He worked most of his adult life as a foreman in the lumber industry.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katherine (Byrum) Hathaway, four children: Kathy and Don Morris of Franklinton, NC, Debbie and Ron Girdley of Richmond, VA , Curtis and Sandy Hathaway of Huntington, WV and Tanya Mason of South Hill, VA; eight grandchildren: Thelmer Damron, Brittany Mason, Samantha Milam, Curtis Hathaway, III, Brooke Mason, Michael Hathaway and twins Alex and Nicole Hathaway; two great grandchildren: Kilynn Damron and Kaiden Milam; one sister: Katie Hathaway Pollard of Greenville, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall on Hwy 48.
