Crystal Elaine Vasaturo

Crystal Elaine Tillery Vasaturo, 45, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Mrs. Vasaturo was born on March 19, 1978 in Halifax County, the daughter of Harvey Dale Tillery and Donna Ferguson Tillery.

Surviving along with her parents are her husband Steven Joseph Vasaturo of the home, Raquel Covina McClenny of Boykins, VA and Alexis Courtney Joyner (Michael) of Jacksonville, NC, her sons Joseph Anthony Vasaturo and Steve Nathaniel Vasaturo, both of Roanoke Rapids, her brother Brian Goodwin Tillery of Roanoke Rapids, her grandchildren Juliette Adelaide Joyner and Xander McClenny, her best friends Angelica Graham & Jessica Dickson and many other extended family members.

Crystal enjoyed watching horror flicks and the show The Walking Dead.  She enjoyed collecting stuffed animals and willow tree figurines; but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service to assist with services.
