Crystal Jean Fowler

Crystal Jean Fowler, 40, of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday, March 12, 2021.

She was born January 19, 1981 in Halifax County, the daughter of David Charles Fowler, Jr. and Patricia Jean Brown Fowler.

Crystal loved her family, especially her daughters and grandson.  She enjoyed listening to music, and also liked to shop.  She was especially fond of helping people in any way that she could.

Survivors include her parents, David and Patti Fowler; daughters, Breanna Nicole Haislip, Camryn Lee Tomlinson, Lillian Grace Jean Stillwell; grandson, Tysen Ray Peterson; half-brother, Matthew Tyler Fowler; grandparents, David “Shorty” Fowler, Sr., Lydia Jane Brown; aunt, Cathy Cocke (Jim); cousins, Jamie, Taylor and Mollie Cocke and Mollie’s daughter McKenzie; uncle, Joe Fowler, cousin, Maddison Fowler.

Crystal was preceded in death by grandparents, Thelma C. Fowler, Maurine Woods, Albert Woods, Valjean Clemmons, Thomas Wilson Brown, Jr; and uncle, Ronnie Brown.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  At other times, friends may stop by the Fowler residence, 185 Harrison St., Roanoke Rapids.

Guests are asked to observe mask and social distancing recommendations.
