Clinton “Clint” Edward Jones, 64, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in his home. Mr. Jones was born on March 9, 1962 in Norfolk, VA, the son of Goldie Irene Wallace and Clinton Earl Jones.

Clint’s favorite past time was fishing with his son Charlie. Earlier in his life he enjoyed woodworking, making collages and jewelry for his family.

Surviving include his wife Barbara Pittman Jones, his daughter Valerie White (David Maguire), his son Charlie Earl Jones (Heather Hargrave), his brother Jim Garrett (Gayle), his granddaughter Claire Jones, his nephew Michael Garrett (Melissa) and many other extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Reverend Stan Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.
