Christopher Mike Dowles

Christopher Mike Dowles, 47, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. Mr. Dowles was born on January 30, 1977, in Roanoke Rapids, the son of the late Betty Hunt Dowles and Samuel Edward Dowles. He was also preceded in death by his nephew Tyler Hunt and his uncle’s Robert Hunt and Roy Hunt.

Surviving include his daughter Miranda Dowles and her mother Amanda Richardson, his sister Michelle Blanton (Barry), his brother Jeff Hunt, all of Roanoke Rapids, his nephews Dylan Banton and Matthew Blanton and his wife Nina and their children Milo and Mabel, his aunts Bernice Hunt and Diana Evanston; his cousins Beverly Blue, God daughter Haley, Justin Blue and his wife Jasmine and their children Jaelyn and Wolfie, Brian Hunt and wife Wanda, Brandie Hunt Newsome and husband Daniel, Teresa Newsome and husband Frank, Wendy Hunt, Tiffany Oaks and husband Chris, and Lee Merritt, and sister-in-law Victoria Hunt; and his Special friends Jamie Rogers, Stephanie Horne Edwards, Andre Snow, Calvin Manley, Kevin Clark, Chris Williams, Rachel & Chris Lewis, Junior Fisher, “Pig”, Orlando Sykes “Slick”, Abel Hernandez, Jamie Hernandez, Jimmy “Tot” Powers, Brent Powers, Lee Powers, Ricky Long, Albert Arrington, and Bobby Fleming.

Christopher’s family would like to thank all of his friends over the years for helping him through his emotional and mental struggles.  You all will never know how much you are appreciated.
