Charles Nelson Meadows, Sr.

Charles Nelson Meadows Sr., 83 of Pleasant Hill, NC passed away peacefully at Warren Hills Nursing Home surrounded by family on Wednesday October 30, 2024.  He was born on August 25, 1941, in Buncombe County.  He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Ella Meadows, wife Barbra Jean Conwell Meadows, his brothers Roy Meadows, Doug Meadows, Claude Meadows Jr., his sisters Mary Pierce, Blanche Mosely, Charlotte Williams, Edith Evans and his beloved fur baby “Coconut”.

He is survived by his sons Charles N. Meadows Jr (Connie) and Stuart T. Meadows (Pam), sisters Jackie King of Newport News Virginia, Eva Lewis of New Port News Virginia, Marie Lewis (Bill) or Roanoke Rapids and Genevieve Varnell of Troutman, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Monday November 4, 2024 at 2:00pm in Crestview Cemetery, Pastor Jeremy Kobernat presiding.

Charles retired from the State of North Carolina.
