Charles Collins Etheridge

Charles Collins Etheridge, 83, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Weldon.

Mr. Etheridge was born in Halifax County, December 26, 1929, to the late Claude Victor Etheridge and Willie Jordan Etheridge. He was in the United States Army and served his country during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, Mr. Etheridge was preceded in death by his brother, James Victor Etheridge; nephew, Erick Eugene Etheridge, and a sister-in-law, Mildred Etheridge.

Surviving is his brother, Billy E. Etheridge and wife, Linda, of Pikeville, NC, and two sisters, Ezelle Pepper and Estelle Lynch, both of Roanoke Rapids. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews

The family will have a private burial at Crestview Memorial Cemetery on Friday, April 12, 2013..
