Carrie Copeland

Carrie Ann Haslip Copeland, 83, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in her home.  Mrs. Copeland was born on January 4, 1941 in Plymouth, NC, the daughter of the late Carrie Dail Haslip and Sam Reason, Jr.

Surviving include her husband James “Jim” Ervin Copeland, her two sons James Erwin Copeland Jr. and wife Lori of Indian Trail and Samuel William Copeland of Roanoke Rapids, her brother Jimmy Donald Reason of Zebulon, her sisters Linda Waters of Plymouth and Kathy Allen of Mississippi, her three grandchildren:  Kayla Nicole Copeland, William Bryant Copeland, and Savanah Kay Copeland, and many other extended family members.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2024 in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.  Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the Copeland Family during this time.
