Carole J. Sullivan from Weldon, NC, passed away on May 2, 2013, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lola and Garner Sullivan; two brothers and a sister, Harold R. Sullivan, Travis Sullivan, and Eleonor Strickland. Carole is survived by her nieces and nephews, Gary and Teresa Strickland, Orange Park, FL; Steve Strickland, Roanoke Rapids, NC; Susan and Danny Rose, Clayton, NC; Jan Sullivan Volz, Rocky Mount, NC; Kim and Charles Powell, Manassas, VA; Paloma and Ray Sullivan, Roanoke Rapids, NC; Leigh Sullivan Dieffenderfer, Woodbridge, VA. There are 9 great and 3 great-great nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Irma Sullivan Hastey, Washington, NC. She was also grandma to Patrick and Ricci McKenzie Sullivan.

Carole was a member of Weldon Baptist Church for many years. Currently, she is a member of Crossroads Baptist Fellowship, Weldon.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m at Hockaday Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids.
