Carl Victor Martin

Carl Victor Martin, 83, died Wednesday, August 03, 2022, at ECU Healthcare in Greenville, NC.

Mr. Martin was born in Halifax County, September 16, 1938, son to the late Robert and Lessie Gay Martin.  He was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy, and dearly loved his family.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his brother, Robert J. Martin; sisters, Priscilla Bounds and Fonda Bolt and his great grandchild, Jackson Ryan Hollowell, and niece Velma Lyle.

Surviving is his wife, Judy Thompson Martin, of the home; his stepdaughter, Jeanna Jones Dunlow of Roanoke Rapids; 2 grandchildren, Morgan Paige Dunlow and Hayley Daryl Dunlow and his 2 great grandchildren, Lucas Owen Hollowell and Greyson Lance Boyd.  Also surviving are his nieces, Georgette Monohan and Shawn Milligan and nephews, Scott Strickland, Jeff and Tony Martin of Charlotte.

The family will have a service to honor Mr. Martin, at a later date.
