Cameron Douglas Newsome

Dinwiddie, VA-

Cameron Douglas Newsome, infant son of Rodney Douglas Newsome and Joyce Ann Spence Newsome of Dinwiddie, VA, died Friday June 28, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Preceding Cameron in death is his paternal grandfather, Douglas E. Newsome.

In addition to his parents, Cameron is survived by his big brother, Richard E. Spence of the home; maternal grandmother, Patsy S. Doisey of Roanoke Rapids, paternal grandmother, Betty Newsome of Roanoke Rapids, and maternal grandfather, James M. Suggs and wife, Jean, of Littleton; very special aunts and uncles, Holly and Albino Hernandez, Kelvin and Donna Newsome, all of Roanoke Rapids. Also surviving are many special cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 11:00- 1:00 pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service. Dave Chapman, Minister, will conduct a graveside service, following the visitation, in Cedarwood Cemetery at 1:30 pm.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made in Cameron's name, to Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, 507 HWY 158 W, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
