Butch Englehart

Morris ”Butch” Patrick Englehart, 73, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at his residence in Gaston.

Butch was born in Henrico, VA on September 28, 1946, the son of George D. and Suzie Englehart.

A member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, he was a retired truck driver for Parker Oil Company.  Butch umpired softball for 25 years.  He enjoyed playing softball, bowling and fishing.  Butch served our country in the US Army in Vietnam.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Novak Englehart; daughters, Patricia E. Allen and Michelle Caudle; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.   No additional service is planned at this time.
