Brittany Nicole Matthews

Brittany Nicole Matthews, 28, died on October 25, 2018.

She is survived by her son, Jayden McKenzie of Littleton; father, Bryant Matthews (Jettie) of Roanoke Rapids; mother, Tammy Carroll (Ken) of Littleton; a brother, Randy Davis of Roanoke Rapids; boyfriend, Josh Daniels of Littleton; and many extended family members and friends.

Brittany worked as a waitress in her family’s restaurant, Tammy’s Place. She was a very special person with a beautiful smile, independent nature, and was a loving mother.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service on Sunday evening, October 28 ^th, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

The funeral service for Brittany will be held on Monday, October 29 ^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Lewis officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
