Brett Everette Swails, Sr.

Brett Everett Swails, Sr., 59, of Whitakers, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in his home.  Mr. Swails was born on November 25, 1963 in Jesup, GA, the son of the late Rosa Lee Spell and Rev. Leonard Swails.  He enjoyed life, his family, and his friends; and was a very hard worker.

Surviving include his son Brett Swails (Ashley) of Whitakers, NC; his sisters Rita S. Kittrell of Middletown, PA and Maxine S. Blowe of Rocky Mount, NC; his brothers Robert Swails of Jesup, GA, Junior Swails of Jesup, GA, and Harold Swails of Mobile, AL.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM in Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev.
