Brett Livingston Stone Sr

Brett Livingston Stone, Sr., 56, died Sunday, February 26, 2017, at his home.

Brett was born, March 12, 1960, in Spartanburg, SC. He was a master carpenter and, because of his skills, would always help others before himself. He was a sports fanatic, participating in softball leagues for many years. Brett was preceded in death by his mother and father, Peggy and Elliott Vincent, and sister, Lisa Stone Harris.

Surviving are his sons, Brett L. Stone, Jr. and wife, Samantha, of Greenville, NC, Stephen T. Stone, of Roanoke Rapids; brother, Woody Vincent of Bay City, TX; sisters, Beth Sloan and husband, Todd, of Austin, TX, and Mona Stone of Roanoke Rapids. Also surviving is his grandson, Fletcher Elliott Stone.

The family will have a gathering of friends to remember Bretts life at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
