Brenda Yvonne Nowell

Brenda Yvonne Nowell, 70, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

Brenda was born in Halifax County on August 28, 1950 to the late Robert Willis Nowell and Virginia Dare Walker Nowell. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Nowell.

Brenda was a down to earth, very sweet and kind person, very much loved.

Brenda is survived by her children, Robert “Bo” Nowell and his wife Pauletta of Pueblo, CO and Christina Edwards and her husband Damion Pettway of Roanoke Rapids; her sister-in-law, Donna Nowell of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren, Devon Edwards, Heaven Pettway, Izabella Pettway and Brantley Brown; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Nowell, Brian Nowell and Victoria Nicole Nowell; several great nieces and nephew; her caregivers, Monica and Billy Brown.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
