Betty Blake Wrenn

Betty Blake Wrenn, 77, of 210 Davie Street, Gaston, North Carolina, died Wednesday, December 16,2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 3, 1932, to the late John Franklin Blake and Bertha Denton Blake. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert Franklin Blake and his wife, Evelyn; Jasper Earl Blake; Paul Blake and his wife, Maybeline; and her sister: Lucielle Blake Collins and her husband, Beroy.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Wrenn, of Gaston; her son: Tim Wrenn and his wife, Sharon, of Roanoke Rapids; her daughter: Katherine Cooper and her husband, Neil, of Cary; her sister-in-law: Lorraine Blake of Charlotte; her grandchildren: Brandon Wrenn and Christopher Arquilla; ten nieces and nephews and two very special nephews: Bill Collins and J. B. Collins.

A memorial service will be held at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, December 21, 2009, at 7:00 P.M., conducted by Billy Meinsen, Minister. The family will receive friends after the service.
