Betty Glover Padgett

Betty Glover Padgett 85 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday March 30, 2024.  Betty was born on June 5, 1938, in Henderson NC.  she was preceded in death by her parents James and Maude Wells, her first husband Tony Lee Tucker and second husband Jesse Lee Padgett, her son Anthony David Tucker, her daughter Ginger Tucker Whitehead, stepson David Padgett, brother Seth M. Glover and sister Adelle Wheeless

She is survived by her daughter Janet Tucker Fleming (Charles), sisters Hilda G. Poythress and Margaret Stevenson, stepson Mike Padgett and step daughter Debbie (Tommy) Francis, grandchildren Mandy Padgett, Christie Tucker Hudson, Rachel Tucker Bailey, Bridgette Tucker Ramsey, Melodi Love, Lacey Love Mooney, Chase Alexander Fleming, Chad Janson Fleming and Candace Lynn Fleming, great grandchildren Rylee Shay Fleming and Myla Raye Fleming, Judy and Joe who were  like a daughter and son to her and some very special neighbors and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service later.
