Betty Deberry

Betty DeBerry, 89 of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in her home.  Ms. DeBerry was born in Halifax County, the daughter of the late Berta Ada Hilton and William Edward Cushing.

Surviving include her children: Noah Dean DeBerry (Cindy), Teresa Daniels of Gaston, Kathy Myrick of Roanoke Rapids, and Donna Briggs of Littleton; her grandchildren: Nikki Daniels, Tiffany Ayala, Steven Paul Daniels, Nicole Lassiter, and Eric DeBerry, 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:0 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 in Cedarwood Cemetery with Pastor Steven Tondee officiating.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.  Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the DeBerry Family.
