Bettie Casper Harrison

Bettie Casper Harrison, 80, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

Bettie was born January 26, 1938 in Gates County, NC to the late Arthur Casper and Elizabeth Pierce Casper.

She was a former employee of J. P. Stevens, Wonder Bread, M & M Grocery in Gaston, Village Grocery, and a homemaker.

Bettie is survived by her daughter, Joy H. Baugham and her husband Jimmy Baugham, Sr.; her grandson, Andrew Poole and his wife Brittany Poole both of Roanoke Rapids; her great-grandsons, Liam and Jacob; her sisters, Grace Woodard and Judy and Ronald “Rom” Harrison.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, October5, 2018 in the Casper Family Cemetery in Garysburg with Rev. Daniel West. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 P.M. Friday prior to the service at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
