Beth Gray-Robertson

Beth Gray-Robertson, 62, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Beth was born April 17, 1954 in Halifax County to George T. Gray and Georgie Sykes Gray. She was preceded in death by her father, George Gray.

Beth was an educator, she taught kindergarten for years, was a private tutor. Her first love was being the Distance Learning Director at Halifax Community College. Her goal in life was to help people be the best they could be. Beth had an intense love for Christ, playing the piano and singing, her family and her friends. She lived life at 150 mph and death only slowed her down for a short while.

Beth is survived by her husband, Billy Robertson of the home; her mother, Georgie Sykes Gray; her sisters, Pam Keeter, Bevey McKee and Barbara Kirby and her lifelong, faithful, very close friend Melinda Speight all of Roanoke Rapids; three nephews and one niece; two great-nieces and three great-nephews.

A Celebration of Beths Life will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Roanoke Rapids Church of God with Rev. Sue Owens officiating.
