Bertha Ann Kidd Floyd

Bertha Ann Kidd Floyd, 73 of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount.

Mrs. Floyd was born March 3, 1941 in Broadnax, Va., to the late Harvey and Daisy Lynch Kidd. Mrs. Floyd was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dearly loved her grandchildren and they were the apple of her eye. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Floyd is preceded in death by her aunt, Pauline Perry.

Mrs. Floyd is survived by her husband Alvin Floyd; her daughter, Julie Moore and husband Jason of Gaston, and two grandchildren Kalyn and Jacob.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Preacher Maurice Wheat, officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service from 6:00 -7:30 PM, and all other times at the home.
