Becky Lynn Boone Evans, 61, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, at her home.

Becky was born October 9, 1961, in Halifax County to the late Harold Thomas Boone, Sr. and Barbara Jean Smith Ellis.

Becky is survived by her son Brandon Lee Evans; her brother Harold Thomas “HT” Boone, Jr.; her sisters Betty Jean Boone and Cassandra Baker; and her grandchildren Brandon Lee Evans, Jr., Jeremiah Evans, and Kevin Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Hockaday Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
