Barbara Ann Vaughan

Barbara Ann Vaughan, 67, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Barbara was born June 3, 1948, in Richmond, VA to the late William Edward Parsley, Sr. and Doris Turner Parsley. She was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Vaughan; son, Donald Ray Vaughan and sisters, Linda Powell and Dorothy Maybush; brother, Sonny Waller.

Surviving is her son, Lewis Baldwin and special friend, Chrissy Poole, of Roanoke Rapids; brothers, William E. Parsley, Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Chesterfield, VA and David Parsley and wife, Nita, of Roanoke Rapids and granddaughter, Sumer Baldwin of Roanoke Rapids. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 4, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service. Pastor Maurice Wheat will conduct funeral services Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Central Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
