April Megan Suggs Johnson

April Megan Suggs Johnson, 47 of Halifax, North Carolina passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday June 5, 2026. She was born in Halifax County on December 15, 1978. April was preceded in death by her father Michael Suggs and her grandparents Buck and Helen Suggs, Oris and Anne Edmondson.

She is survived by her mother Kay Thompson, son Tyler Johnson, daughters Kaylynn Johnson and Hailey Johnson, brother Chris Thompson, aunt Cheryl Ball, uncle Jimmy Edmonson, nephew Kyran Boney and special friends Pete Martin and Jeff Davis.

April loving mother, sister and friend. She was a food connoisseur that loved to eat at different types of restaurants.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
