Ann Marie Shelton

Ann Marie Shelton, 47, of Roanoke Rapids died Friday morning, July 31, 2020 in Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Ann was the daughter of Alfonso Lynch and Susan Hawes Lynch.  She was born November 9, 1972 in Arlington County, VA.  Preceding her in death was her father; and also her sister, Melissa Lynch.

Ann was the general manager for Dunkin Donuts in Rocky Mount.  She enjoyed reading, playing video games and traveling.

Family times, including dinners and time with her grandchild, were very special and treasured to Ann.  She was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her mother, Susan Davis, survivors include her husband, Bob Shelton; son, Colin Shelton; daughter, Keri Gilfillan; granddaughter, Emma Gilfillan; sister, Katie Davis; brother, Allen Lynch; and an aunt, Betty Ann Patrick.

Friends may visit with the family at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church (on American Legion Rd), with Pastor Tony Smith presiding.  Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
